The year was l985 and the singers were a white group in London who sounded blacker than Harlem Black. I saw them later in Las Vegas and when they recognized me in the audience, sang the commercial for me. A blast.

Do you have the recording? You should post it here or somewhere for us to listen to.
I'm not tecnologically adept with stuff like posting audio. But, I will ask around and see what comes up. A fellow in England asked for the chords to From Here thru Eternity. That was from 1972 so, like with FRONT STEPS, the sheets are long gone. But I promise I'll ask my younger hip friends if we can be helpful.
